July 5, 2007

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA, July 5, 2007 – Irreverent political and social commentary site, The Beefboy Rants (www.thebeefboy.com) has re-launched with new graphics, a new forum and expanded offerings. The Beefboy Rants is also proud to announce a new partnership with alternative modeling site Toxic Goddess (www.toxicgoddess.com) to deliver exclusive photos, news and information about the Toxic Goddess models.

Five years ago, The Beefboy Rants began as a favorite feature on another site and gained so much attention that it launched as an individual site. Since then, The Beefboy Rants has earned a Webbie Award for web design, has grown to receive more than two million hits a month and has gained attention from around the world. The partnership with Toxic Goddess allows the Beefboy Rants to offer more content to visitors and extend the brands across both sites.

The Beefboy Rants is an irreverent social and political commentary site with opinions by the Beefboy. In addition to the daily musings of the Beefboy, there are regular feature articles, book, DVD, music and comic reviews, podcasts, an exclusive forum, a burgeoning gallery of celebrity, model and amateur photos, and now, even more photography with the elite Toxic Goddess models.

The Beefboy Rants is reaching out to the public in several ways. Due to high demand, The Beefboy Rants has added a page detailing advertising rates available to businesses interested in speaking directly to the site’s unique and vast visitor base. The Beefboy Rants is also looking for both amateur and professional models who would like the publicity associated with a profile page on the site. Finally, The Beefboy Rants seeks independent bands, writers and filmmakers who want their work reviewed and presented to a wider audience. More information is available on The Beefboy Rants new Contact page.

Toxic Goddess is part modeling troupe, part art movement and part cultural phenomenon. Founders Robert “Craze” Henry and Dirk Hooper conceived of this idea several years ago, as a way to present their work to the public in the best way possible and are now joined by makeup artist Jennifer Marks. The guiding principle of Toxic Goddess was to do alternative modeling in a way that not only represents and showcases women in a positive and empowering manner, but to back that up by making the actual models part of the creative process and cut them in for a share of the profits. Finally, they wanted to reach out to, unify and promote, various underground communities including music, fashion, art and alternative social groups, particularly if they are run by or positive toward women.
